Meeting of 6 January 2011

President Suzie called the meeting to order with a hearty Happy New Year.
Opening pledge was led by Jim Hyldahl. Invocation was by Ron Hunt. Jack Mitchell led the singing of "4-Way Test Song" (with permission from his MD).
Greeter Carl Hoffman introduced the visitors, including Shirley Napierala's daught Susan, Bud Renas, Candace Brown and John Brown. Jack led the Welcome Song.

President Suzie reminded that the new website has 3 weeks of volunteers - check it out.
Sunshine Report by Don Lisio: Art Norby's wife sent a thank you; Jim Reading suffered a heart attacked after his chemo and is a PPH;
Bill Bonner has had 2 surgeries and is recovering;
Lu Ann Dickerson's husband will have a memorial service on Jan. 16.
Membership: Shirley Napierala inducted Bud Renas with his red badge. Paul Casterline is his sponsor and mentor.
Jack auctioned flowers from Nanell's for $55. Candace Brown, Nanell's owner, attended the meeting and was recognized for the gift.
Marty Judge announced he has spoken to Assemblyman Nathan Fletcher about changing the legislation on raffles.
The Finemaster, in regular great form, fined Tom Giles, Jim Edwards, Rich Feingold, and non-pin wearers. Some happy bucks were contributed, especially by Ron Hunt celebrating his granddaughter's school achievements.
Thanks were given by President Suzie for Gary Saks' good job as Program Coordinator. Suzie also thanked program chairs Kathleen Smith and Arilla St. Laurent, and introduced Carol Corey as program chair for 2011 quarter 1.
