Minutes for the Club Meeting, January 5, 2012
The Meeting was called to order by President Bill at 12:30.
Pledge of Allegiance was led by Joe Max.
Invocation was a moment of silence called by President Bill Angus.
Music was provided by John Hawkins prior to the beginning of the meeting.
The Scribe - Kathleen Smith and Greeters were Vern Cook and Joe Max.
Three guests were introduced and serenaded.
Family of Rotary Report was given by Troy Daum,Bob Krejci's Memorial will be January 29, more details to come.
Jack Mitchell continues to improve and is getting help from Karen Stelman and Dave Brooks.
Carl Hoffman is home and being assisted by his children. A move to Meadowbrook is anticipated on Jan 17 or 18.
Bulls Eye focused on the Golf Committee of 2011. More to come about the 2012 event from John O'Neil.

Rotary Happy Hour resumes Thurs at 5:30-6:30 at URGE Gastro Pub. Every 1st and 3rd Thursday - next on January 19.

RB Rotary Golf Tournament will be Monday, April 2 @Country Club of Rancho Bernardo. Details to follow.
4 Way Test Speech Contest, RYLA and Model UN selection and recruitment of students are being led by Dave Brooks, Troy Daum and Gabriela Brown respectively.
Thanks came in three letters from the InterFaith for our contributions.
The fine Finemaster really cleaned up with 2 fines and 13(!) happy Rotarians. (Mark Kersey was really unhappy that the Chargers kept Norv Turner)
The Program was introduced by Mark Kersey, and Brian Mainschein from United Way Home Again spoke of Ending Chronic Homelessness in San Diego.

Next week's program is Paula Brandes from the San Diego Automotive Museum.
