10th Year of Holiday Poinsettia Fundraiser Sets New Record
Tom Kapocius, Ray from Armstrong Growers, Mike Stelman and Don Glover are unpacking over 150 cases of Poinsettias and getting them ready for distribution at 7:45 A.M December 5th, 2020 from Bernardo Heights CC. Mike Stelman says that is a record sales total for the 10 years he has been handling the project.
Thank you one and all for orchestrating a very successful fundraiser and especially the delivery of 156 boxes (1248 poinsettia plants) this past Saturday. The proceeds benefit several service projects RB Rotary conducts on MCAS Miramar in support of our active duty Marines and their families.
Special thanks to the many volunteers who devoted their time and effort. Delivery day coordinators Don Glover and Tom Kapocious did a great job. Special thanks to drivers - Dave Brooks, Jim Sommer, Dave King, Joel Doss. and Patrick Chaffee.
Tom Kapocious, Jim Hyldahl, Bill Brehm, Sandie Dewane, Mike Fuqua, Doug Dawson, and the Luciano's did a great job in achieving multiple sales.
I hope I have not missed anyone, but the bottom line is that all pulled together to make this the best poinsettia fundraiser in history. Next year let's get to 200!!!
