On July 25, 1978, our Club founded the Rancho Bernardo Rotary Club Foundation, Inc. (RBRCF), a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization (Federal Tax ID #95 – 3296211.

 

RBRCF embodies the spirit of Rotary’s “Service Above Self”, by enhancing humanitarian benefits in the area designated for the Rancho Bernardo Rotary Club. The Foundation will offer Club members and others, opportunities and inspiration for participating in its mission fulfillment and will strive to improve the quality of life in the club’s service area while providing satisfaction to the Rotary Club members in achieving this goal.

 

Since 2015, the RBRCF has donated over $1.5 million to various charities and the Charity Navigator has rated it the highest possible rating of 4 stars.  Charity Navigator is the world’s largest and most utilized non-profit evaluator.

 

In addition to adhering to the Articles of Incorporation to maintain its 501(c)(3) status, the RBRCF has a strict set of Bylaws that comply with the Articles of Incorporation and govern membership, officers, and grant allocations.
