Board of Trustees
Every member of the Rancho Bernardo Rotary Club in good standing is also a member of the Rancho Bernardo Rotary Club Foundation. Through their votes, the Club members have entrusted the Trustees with the management and oversight of all Foundation financial decisions.
The Trustees have the responsibility to ensure the following:
- Follow the Articles of Incorporation to maintain the 501(c)(3) status
- Carefully administer the funds to provide maximum income for current and future charitable purposes.
- Ensure that all gifts/grants are made only to organizations that are well administered, provide needed services, maintain accountability for proceeds received and will be of continuing value to the community.
- Provide an annual status on the RBRCF, or upon request, to Club members.
- Bring greater recognition to the Rancho Bernardo Rotary Club, its officers, directors, and members.
The RBRCF Board of Trustees is composed of nine (9) Trustees: four (4) At-Large Trustees and five (5) Designated Trustees. The four At-Large Trustees are elected by the membership for a term of three years. The five Designated Trustees are selected from the Club’s Board of Directors and serve for one year.
